Sales Account Representative

Achieves sales quota by developing new US and national accounts. Responsible for meeting sales goals by landing accounts that will buy software, training and support, making presentations and demonstrating software to customers which requires 30% travel (primarily domestic). Must be effective in working client accounts by utilizing the existing Northwind sales teams, outlining account objectives, communicating effectively and acting as an account quarterback. Create proposals to reflect customers needs and to establish customer advocacy. Qualified candidates must have 3+ years previous sales experience within a software sales or hotel sales environment. Must have excellent communication skills as well as presentation skills, and the ability to understand technical issues and articulate technical solutions.

Web Designer

Northwind is looking for a Web Designer with strong graphic design expertise and technical skills. The successful candidate will work with our web marketing services team to deliver to our clients high impact web pages, email campaign designs and be involved in the deployment of our hotel reservation booking engines. The perfect candidate is someone who is adept at sorting through ideas, grasping the big picture, then turning everything into engaging, effective, eye-catching websites, landing pages and email campaigns. This person is also the one who can see the online future and suggest the best creative approach to solving problems. Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop websites, manage content and review routines for improvement of numerous sites
• Communicate with developers, coordinating web front-end and back-end functionality
• Create and design aesthetic web page layouts; quickly delivering numerous scenarios, mockups and proofs of concept for presentation to clients

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience in Graphic Design and Web Development
• Extensive knowledge in hand-code (X)HTML, CSS, and the ability to adapt and learn any new language or application on the fly
• Familiar with numerous web browsers and behavior
• Experience with programming languages, CMS and web interface design
• Comfortable using PC platforms
• Excellent communication skills with ability to think in a consultative way

Qualifications EDUCATION: Computer Studies, Fine Arts, Interactive Media, or equivalent experience EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years related experience; Good Communication skills, written and verbal; Hospitality background an asset but not essential.
